Less Plastic, more sustainable impact

Less Plastic, more sustainable impact

Small changes, big impact: moving towards more sustainable packaging

At Spes Medica, we believe sustainability is built through concrete, everyday choices. That’s why we have redesigned the packaging of our adhesive electrodes with snap connectors, replacing individual LDPE plastic bags with FSC-certified cardboard strips.

This change significantly reduces plastic use while simplifying handling for both our production teams and end users.

Through this step, we are:
✅ Cutting unnecessary plastic waste
✅ Improving efficiency in packaging and use
✅ Taking another step towards a more sustainable, patient-centered healthcare.

What changes in the packaging?

The new packs will now contain a different number of electrodes per pack to optimise material use:– For DENIS01520 and DENIS02025, we move from BOX = 20 PK = 400 PCS to BOX = 20 PK = 480 PCS, with each PK increasing from 20 to 24 electrodes.
– For CDES000020 and CDES000024, we move from BOX = 20 PK = 500 PCS to BOX = 20 PK = 480 PCS, with each PK adjusting from 25 to 24 electrodes.

Because good things grow from fruitful collaborations and from the commitment to rethink even the smallest details for a healthier planet.
